I turned to yoga for healing, empowerment and compassion over 20 years ago. After completing my (RYT-200) with Saraswati’s Yoga Joint in Norwalk, CT in 2006, I moved to Argentina and Geneva, Switzerland where I taught yoga classes in English to an international community. I continued to study with master teachers and in 2012 completed an in depth anatomy and physiology course with the Breathing Project – NYC. Returning home, I graduated from Elena Brower’s Art of Attention advanced teacher training in 2014, and found more inspiration studying with JIllian Pransky in her restorative teacher trainings. Currently I am studying for my 500 hr certification with Tiffany Cruikshank and Yoga Medicine.
I share my love for yoga with teaching that is breath centered with attention to alignment that follows the organic architecture of the body. My classes are nourishing, generous and joyful. I also teach and am also available for workshops in meditation and anxiety management, as well as extended retreats in wellness and self care.
My yoga mat has followed me around the world, a reminder that yoga brings us home no matter where we are living or what we are living through.

“I love practicing yoga with Michelle!! She is knowledgeable about the practice of yoga and the human body. She is passionate, insightful, warm and patient. I immediately felt connected to Michelle. She has a beautiful presence, and you are drawn to watch her demonstrate yoga poses. She makes it look effortless and graceful. Michelle listens to your ailments and aligns the practice accordingly. I have taken both private and group classes with her. After class, I feel invigorated yet relaxed, rejuvenated, and well stretched. The stiffness I might have felt at the beginning of class is gone. I feel charged to tackle my day!”
