- 1 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 1 cup pitted medjool dates
- 1/4 cup raw organic cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips or cocoa nibs
- dash Himalayan Sea Salt
- hemp seeds or shredded coconut
Method
- Soak the nuts in filtered water for four hours or overnight. Drain and rinse.
- In a food processor chop the dates.
- Add the nuts and continue to process.
- Add cocoa powder and salt and continue to process.
- Blend in chocolate chips or cocoa nibs.
- Scoop out and with slightly wet hands roll a tablespoon amount into small balls. Roll the balls in a dry coating of your choice – hemp seeds, coconut flakes, crushed nuts, or cocoa powder.
