INGREDIENTS
  • 1 cup walnuts  
  • 1/2 cup cashews 
  • 1 cup pitted medjool dates
  • 1/4 cup raw organic cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips or cocoa nibs
  • dash Himalayan Sea Salt
  • hemp seeds or shredded coconut

 

Method

  1. Soak the nuts in filtered water for four hours or overnight. Drain and rinse.
  2. In a food processor chop the dates. 
  3. Add the nuts and continue to process.
  4. Add cocoa powder and salt and continue to process. 
  5. Blend in chocolate chips or cocoa nibs.
  6. Scoop out and with slightly wet hands roll a tablespoon amount into small balls. Roll the balls in a dry coating of your choice – hemp seeds, coconut flakes, crushed nuts, or cocoa powder.
