Ingredients

Filling Ingredients:

  • 4 cups frozen organic berries
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot or cornstarch

Crumble Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup walnuts – finely chopped
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla

 

Serve with your favorite creamy topping: ice cream, whip cream, or yogurt

Method

Filling Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix. Let sit for 1/2 hour.
  2. Preheat oven 350°.
  3. Grease a 12 inch pie dish with a bit of coconut oil. Top with berry mixture.

Crumble Method:

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients and mix. Add wet ingredients and stir.
  2. Add on top of the berry mixture in the baking dish.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes.
  4. Serve warm with choice of creamy topping.
