Ingredients
¼ cup tahini
12 oz shelled frozen edamame, defrosted
½ medium ripe avocado
1 ½ tbsp tamari
3 – garlic cloves
½ – 1 serrano pepper (optional)
1 handful fresh cilantro
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil (or toasted sesame oil)
1 large lime
Salt to taste
3 tbsp hemp hearts (optional)
Pickled onions (optional)
Method
Add the tahini, edamame, avocado, soy sauce, garlic, chile pepper, cilantro, olive oil, and lime zest and juice to a food processor. Start blending until it turns into a chunky dip. Season with salt to taste as needed.
Serve on toast with hemp seeds or pickled onions and a garnish of cilantro.. Or serve as a dip with vegetable crudite or crackers.
