Vegan Ricotta Cheese

INGREDIENTS
  • 2 cups slivered almonds
  • 2 tsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt to taste
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder (just a sprinkle)
  • 1 cup filtered water

 

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a high speed blender with 3/4 cup water. Blend on high, adding water as needed until achieve a smooth texture.
  2. Serve garnished with pomegranate seeds, fresh basil or herbs.
  3. Store in airtight container for up to 5 days.

Variations:

Add fresh herbs like basil when blending
